Intro:  A visit to the mind of an individual waking up to the disillusionment of the reality after a night of opioids.
In his confusion between death and trip, the resolution seemed to be the girl he loved.


   Woke up today

Maybe to curse again^
Had shots last supper
Didn't go lucidly through
Couldn't feel my toes
Feet gasping to feel
Fingers ached to scribble
Hoping for amnesia
Lips quivering
Stopped by
To savor the fancy tears
Stopped by
To discern between
Fear or Gratification
Slowly drugged into catharsis
Soul finally espied him from the
Neck of the woods
A transcendence being
Drifting in nirvana
Like a vagrant gypsy
Dead to the world
